Kara McKenna doubles 4:36.2 1500m and 6:45.6 2K steeple.  Suffern girls, North Rockland boys win team titles.

Boston Marathon:

Americans go 3-4-5 at 110th Boston Marathon; place five men in top 10
   In an incredible showing for American distance running, Americans Meb Keflezighi, Brian Sell and Alan Culpepper finished third, fourth and fifth, respectively, as five American men were in the top 10 on Monday at the 110th Boston Marathon. Robert Cheruiyot of Kenya won his second career Boston title with a course-record time of 2:07:14.  -  report courtesy Walt Murphy

Caitlin Lane and Chelsea Borbolla are back in the fold at Greenwich. Borbolla had run independently during indoor season, but returned when sisters Caitlin and Brittany Lane transferred from Saratoga Springs two weeks ago. With the Fungs and Lanes, the Witches appear unbeatable in the distance events, and Borbolla is one of the area's top 400/800 runners.  This could have an affect on the NTN next season.

4/15 - Suffolk Coaches Invit - Commack HS

4/15 - Knight-Time Invitational - Mitchell Field, Uniondale

4/15 - Morris Hills Relays - Morris Hills, NJ

The annual event runs some different events, including open 1200m and 2000m, and 300m hurdles.  Suffern girls dominate track while New Rochelle girls dominate throws.

4/15 - Mayor's Cup - Icahn Stadium

Monster sized meet sees thousands compete.  The 400m had 353 boys race.  Farrell takes boys title while and Boys and Girls take the girls title. Andre Pinnock (Sheepshead Bay) 49.4 400m, Farrell sweeps distance events while Kyle Duggan leads team dominance with 14'00" PV.  For the girls, Adrenee Sterrett (Boys & Girls) runs 55.80 400m and helps 4x400m run 3:50.98.
